Page 1 of TOUCH OF EVIL REGION 1 PROBLEM DISC

Hi, I have just bought A Touch Of Evil DVD Region 1, and it does`nt play the Theatrical Trailer, it just locks the player up.
Everything else seems to play fine. I am new to DVD`s and Region 1 discs, but has anyone had any similar problems with this, or other discs. And could it be a faulty disc? My player is an Aiwa XD-DV370. Thanks.

I had problems with this disk. Played OK up to about chapter 13 then froze. Couldn`t play beyond that point even if selected via menus. Also had a problem with the trailer.
Returned disk to Play247 and got a refund. They have also had problems. I think there was a bad batch as other people have had no problems. Who supplied your disk and when did you get it? Mine was bought a few months ago.
Hopefully a R2/R4 release will be forthcoming?

I actually bought mine off eBay (disc was sealed) a few weeks ago from a dealer in Canada.
