Page 1 of Twin Peaks - Season2 when?

Hope you can help with this.......

I have been asked to get hold of this as a pressie. Everything that I find says not YET released (Amazon.com=comming soon!) :( .
I was assured by the would be recipient that it was out and said that he had seen it on fleabay. So would I be correct in thinking that despite the seller listing as "NEW", that it is probably a copy, possibly from TV/TAPE/DOWNLOAD?

Your wisdom on this would be appreciated.

My other half is anxious for this as well, as far as i know its down for a release sometime this year!

And yes the ebay ones will be homemade jobbies 8)

Just as I suspected, if they want the suspect copy, they`ll have to get it for themselves. I imagine that the proper release will come with extras as well!

the ones on ebay, are generally spanish version season 1 and 2 and go for stupid prices and quality is vhs quality and you have to go through some menus to turn off the subtitles and get the english on. Would wait for the new realease (though when that will be its taken along time so far). I ordered a set a while back direct from a company in spain for about 60 notes including p and p, though I can not remember which company I found it from some forum search. The qualitys ok to watch but nothing to write home about, but i was dying to see season 2. I eventually re-sold on ebay, lets say I got my money back ;)

Yup spanish release is from Manga and upto their usual quality levels apparently.
See dugpa for ongoing info about Lynch releases , note that it says sweden in november but thats probably inaccurate

:o I have been doing a great deal of research into this myself as an avid fan of the original 90`s tv series I am desperate to get my hands on both series 1 & 2. It seems that universal have held back the release of series 2 until later this year (should have been 2005), most of the ones on "fleabay" are copies I suspect, although a box set of series 1 &2 combined was released in Spain, in English language with an option for Spanish/English subtitles......... I personally am going to try to be patient and wait for the official release later this year. I suggest you keep trying play.com as the cheapest I have found with free shipping too. Every name helps. Thank you. Lets hope it is soon. Do not buy from ebay they are all pirates not the genuine thing and are illegal and most probably poor quality rubbish. Here is the link
