Could someone please tell me the difference between the normal version of heathers and the limited edition tin version? I seem to see no difference apart from extra money and if its just for the packaging I will go for the cheaper one probably. Thanks.
Well, there`s a 48 page booklet for starters, liner notes (whatever that is),has a rubber ruler and the tin is limited to about 15000 copies.

thanks a lot, loads of useful info there.
I always liked this film and the tin version looks good to me! thanks !
I`m hacked off. I`d ordered this from Deep Discount DVD, but didn`t notice that when my confirmation e-mail arrived it said `discontinued` beside Heathers!
Now I`m scouting around trying to find the next cheapest place to buy it...any recommendations?
I`m tempted by DVDimport`s price, but I`d heard some that they weren`t reliable. Does anyone know if they`ve improved?
It also seems that a lot of places that were showing this are no longer stocking it. Deep Discounts reason was that they never received it from the manufacturer. I wonder if this has been widespread?
I ordered mine from Play 247 for £14.99 (no mention of a box but you get the disk which is the main thing) Came out last Monday and I still haven`t heard anything from them. I also still haven`t had Halloween from them yet which is already in all the shops, hmmm never had any problems before anyone else had this?

The Play version isn`t the Limited Edition, it`s just the new release, I`d e-mailed them before release to check. Normally I wouldn`t bother about the tin, but Heathers is one of my favourite films and worth it. Ahh well!
Well I ordered mine on 25/9/01 from interdvd ( its a long story why i ended up ordering from them ) and I am still waiting on it. When I called I was told they were waiting on deliveries but would definitely be getting them. Funnily enought they blamed it on anchor bay for not sending it quicker and then tried to sell me a tin version of maniac!
Anyway still waiting and will not be ordering from them again as their service has slowly gotten worse, prices still stupidly high and they dont reply to emails. DV-depot here I come!

DO NOT USE DVDIMPORT.com
Considering I haven`t got mine yet and I ordered from somewhere else they may be a bit of truth in the anchor bay thing (I hope)
I`d second not using DVD Import. Also, DV-Depot are out of stock and not likely to get it in again, doh!
The cheapest place I`ve seen the tin is DC-DVD, http://www.dc-dvd.net/ (£26.75). I`ve never used this place, but they`re a UK company so it might be okay. :-)
It`s a bit pricey though, but then there are only 15000 tins (I`m sure a lot less now!).
