Batman Forever dvd question

Hi there I have just got Batman Forever R2 special edition and have noticed that it is a 12 rating. I know the original was PG and was if anyone could tell me if the new special edition is uncut. I have searched dvdcompare.net and that just mentions the original being cut. Thanks.

According to Melon Farmers

Quote:
uncut 116:33s 1995 US film by Joel Schumacher (Warner Home Video)
The cuts were waived when resubmitted in November 2005 for a 12 certificate

However the same scene is cut out of Batman Returns

Quote:
9s 121:04s 1992 US film by Tim Burton.
Same cut version has 12 cinema certificate and 15 video certificate.

Catwoman places an aerosol in a microwave but not in the UK version as we may be stupid enough to copy this idea.
A clown swinging on chainsticks during in attack on Batman has also suffered. The BBFC refuse to allow the sight of chainsticks regardless of their usage.

Suprisingly Batman and Robin.is cut not by the BBFC but by Warner.

Batman & Robin 119:39s 1997 US film by Joel Schumacher (Warner Home Video)
Thanks to Frosby. There are no BBFC cuts so perhaps the cut was made by the distributor:

I have seen both Region`s 1 and 2 of this film and found at cut of about 5 to 10 seconds where George Clooney and Arnie tug and tussle for Mr Freeze`s ice weapon, Clooney says to Mr Freeze didn`t your mother ever tell you not to play with guns and cuts straight to batman lifting freeze in the air with the barrel of the gun.
