Page 1 of Apes Box Set on R2 All in Anamorphic

Nuff said.

Who says R2 get a bum deal.

While this is true, I read on one UK site a review comparing both saying that while the US one is not Anamorphic, it had been taken from a much better print of the film. Only having the R1 version I can`t compare...how does the R2 picture quality seem?

BTW , from the rewind comparison of R1/R2/R4:
OVERALL : Draw - Difficult one this. The R1 discs are THX certified and present a cleaner picture than R2/4 but are non-anamorphic. There are also minor differences in the extras so at the end day, it has to be your decision really.

The R2 box set is a real sexy one too! Shame only the first film is good, but the "Extras" disc is great!
