Page 1 of Audition - Special Edition/Collectors Edition???

hi there, i wanna get this dvd, but i need to know which edition is best to get? the 1999 collectors edition, or the region 1 special edition? there is also a another different region edition that can be seen on amazon. this one contains a special 4 page booklet and the artwork inside the dvd looks good aswell. any thoughts on which one to buy? oh and i dnt know which one is dolby 5.1. i think they all are digitally remasterd.

I got the cheapo Region 3 version of this and it`s pretty good. The picture is definitely better than the UK Tartan release even though it`s not anamorphic. The R2 release also features burnt-in subtitles to add to it`s list of offences. The problem with the R3 disc is the mental English translation, but anyone with half a brain will understand what`s going on just fine.

I don`t think any of the current releases hit the mark though, which is a shame for such a good movie.
