Page 1 of PATHFINDER REGION1....HELP!!!!!!

hi all, i have a huge collection of region 1 dvds that i watch on my philips dvd/rw player that i coded to make multiregion, however pathfinder will not work, the disc loads and then displays a message from mgmua that says ..this disc is not playablein this region?? whats happened..all others work ok

Sounds like it may have RCE (Region Code Enhancement)... so basically you`re buggered. Not much of a comfort but by all accounts the movie is pants anyway :/

thats strange cos usually RCE titles are marked on play usa.com..

me again, ive just tried a few other rce dvds,ie hellboy,darkness falls and they work..

Hellboy isn`t RCE. You can`t trust the listings on retailers` websites, as they just put RCE on all titles from certain distributors to cover their arses. Hardly any discs use it now, and even when they did it was mostly just Sony and Warner. It was circumvented so easily the studios all but gave up on it.
