I would guess all of us at some point have bought a DVD weve not actually seen especially region 1 DVDs where their earlier than UK(especially in Pitch Blacks case) releases and often better extras tempt us,I bought Me,Myself & Irene and Bedazzled unseen and was not impressed but I still do it but whats the best `unseen` DVDs youve bought..mine are Pitch Black(I rewatched it several times) Final Destination and I was impressed with Jurassic 3(Does exactly what you expect and better than pt2)

I bought "Shrek" without actually seeing the film........i was not was not disappointed. I usually seek the views of the Forums if i am considering buying films i have not watched. Almost bought "Swordfish", but decided against it after consulting the forum.

Suprised you didn`t like "Me Myself and Irene"..........i couldn`t stop laughing during the film........i suppose it`s down to personal taste at the end of the day!!

Almost all of the region 1 and 3 films I buy are unseen but that`s why God invented reviews. Here`s some of my favourites:

• Shaolin Soccer (I urge everyone to check out this movie)
• Bottlerocket (a little gem of a movie)
• Legend of a Drunken Master (that`s Drunken Master 2 to you)
• Toy Story 2 (even better than the original)
• Iron Monkey (Woo Ping doing what he does best)
• Drive (fast, funny, kick-ass fights and an excellent commentary track)
• Charlie`s Angels (sorry, I liked it, great sound and video)
• Elvis: That`s The Way It Is (the King at the height of his powers)
• Fist of Legend (simply the best martial arts film ever made)

But alas for every Shaolin Soccer and Bottlerocket there`s a Romeo Must Die or a Final Fantasy...
