depends what you mean:

if you mean the film itself then yes its a brilliantly funny movie,
but if you mean the disc itself then no its complete s***e! its worth paying an extra tenner for the R1 version which is bundled with extras including over an hours worth of quality deleted scenes...

Mallrats is brilliant. One of my favourite films ever. If u think you wont like it, get the region 2 cos its peanuts but if u think u will enjoy it, get the region 1 cos i love that disc. The deleted scenes are well worth watching as they produce a whole new plot that was cut from the movie. and they are hilarious. There is a cool music video, featurettes, a blatant but funny easter egg that the director of bring it on stole from this disc. Really the region 1 is very cool

The movie is cool. But this may or may not bother you but I beleive it`s presented in 4:3 ratio, at least on the R2 version.

The R2 disc is 4:3 with a DD5.0 track and no extras.

R1 is anamorphic 1.85:1, DD5.1 and feature packed. The video commentary is perhaps the best I`ve ever heard, and is really, really funny.

I know which one I went for...

I have the region 2 version of mallrats and it is not presented in 4:3, it is 16:9 anamorphic widescreen. The only problem is that it is devoid of extras (except a trailer)
