I still haven`t watched POTC3 - I just can`t face it. I hated the first one and the second was even worse. I can`t criticise something without having seen/heard/read/expreienced it so I won`t and will not go and see #4 either.

I loved the first one, and I thought the second one was great too. But the third was a huge let down. :(

I quite enjoyed the first, although I couldn`t ever view it as more than just time-passing entertainment, but I found the second film so boring I actually fell asleep (at home, not in the cinema). As a consequence I`ve not bothered with the third.

I enjoyed the first one as well, but two and three (especially three) seemed to think they were on a par with Lord Of The Rings (which they`re clearly nowhere near). On the other hand, I`m not a fan of Kermode either...

I like Marker Mode when he knows about and is passionate about his subject, to whit, that great Blade Runner doc a few years back. Other times he can sound a bit pretentious.

I loved the first Pirates, it was solid, trashy, throwaway entertainment, with a marmite performance from Depp that elevated the film beyond the blockbuster gutter.

I haven`t seen the third, but I`m sitting here trying to remember if I have seen the second. I know it was on last Chrimble, and I remember sitting down in front of the telly to watch it. I remember squid face. I remember fighting on a wheel, Keira Knightley trying to be manly pirate tough. Apparently Orlando wotzit was in it. No... that`s it. I`ve blanked the rest of it out of my mind. From what I can tell, it was the piratical equivalent of Matrix Reloaded. Lots of eyecandy, bugger all happened. :/

The Pirates trilogy is for me like that Matrix trilogy, Loved the first, indifferent about the second, bored to death by the third..

I want to see Pirates 4 as much as I want to see the butterfly effect 3 (or 2 for that matter)

Call me weird (I know you will), but I`m quite looking forward to Pirates IV. I thoroughly enjoyed the first three pictures (although I`ll agree that 3 dragged in places and when I watch it, I always hit the skip chapter button as soon as the picture starts to get past the mass-hanging sequence and into the story proper. As far as I`m concerned the picture starts at the point where Elizabeth is trying to infiltrate Sao Feng`s place.)

I was delighted to hear Elizabeth and William won`t be part of the new adventure because I`ve found their storyline tedious. The fun in Pirates is always down to Jack Sparrow and Hector Barbossa, and I think a movie that concentrates on these two will be much more fun.

I think there are a lot of movies better deserving moaning or ranting about than a fourth Pirates of the Caribbean instalment.

Jeez , this scheittehawk even went to the Isles to watch a movie in a two seat cinema. Such is his passion or more likely such is this erses need to be noticed.
Arty farty ringpiece who is as bad as Brian Phuqen Sewell. Only difference is the hair style and the accents, all the rest of the pompous scheitte is the same.
