Page 1 of `Taxi Driver` any good????? only £9.99 on play247 by the way!

I still haven`t seen this film and I was wondering if it is a good film or not. I know it is a classic but is it the whole movie good or is it just a classic because of Robert De Niro`s famous ` You talkin to me?` scene. Its only £9.99 on play247 so if it is any good im gonna buy it. Extra`s any good aswell?

Snap it up now, it`s an absolute classic, probably in my own personal top ten faves of all-time. The extras are v good as well especially the documentary.

I`m suprised you havent` seen it as it is an excellent movie but I think not to everyones` taste. The Extra`s are also very good for an older movie with a very interesting 70min documentary, a photo gallery, trailer, and the full screenplay. Well worth £8, and if you don`t like it you could always sell it on ebay and propbably get your money back. Just been on and someone`s just bought the Matrix for £12 when you can get it from this site for £7.99.

Taxi Driver IS an absolute must, I agree with that, but when it comes to the disc.....beware. I bought my copy from HMV last year as part of there `Buy 1 Get 1 Free` offer. I watched it when I got home and after the layer change I was presented with a screen of green and purple squares! Checked this out on a couple of my friend`s machines and they had the same thing. I swapped this at HMV a couple of times, still no joy. I ended up getting fobbed off with the classic "It must be your machine...." line, so played them at there own game and ended up getting Silence of the Lambs for £2!
Sorry, I digress.....anyway, what I`m saying is that just make sure play.com are ok with returns just incase they have the same dodgy batch as HMV did.

Get it. It improves with repeated viewings and any film that prompts somebody to try and kill Ronny Reagan is alright by me! De Niro`s contributions to the documentary are almost as interesting as his "should he or shouldn`t he have a moustache" on the Godfather Disc!
