Page 1 of A Tale of two sisters (Korean Movie) ?

Hi,

I watched this on DVD a few years ago and although i enjoyed it i didn`t get what the movie was all about.

I finally finished decorating my room yesterday....spent two months making it into a dedicated cinema room with a projector and fired up a Tale of two sisters again....this time on Bluray on a 92" screen.

After it finished i am still totally confused to what it`s all about, none of my family or mates get it either.

Doing a quick search brings up other confused people.....it seems everyone thinks it`s a very well made creepy film but need the ending explained.

Anybody seen it?

Want to try and explain the ending to me?

Wikipedia has an outline of the plot, and reveals that a Western version of the film, The Uninvited, came out 2 years ago. Give that one a whirl

Still confusing even with the explanation. :)

I didn`t know the Uninvited was a remake, will give that a shot.

Hmmmm, I saw this a fair few years ago, would venture that it was probably 2004/2005.

I remember I really enjoyed it, but can`t quite remember the plot.  Don`t even remember it being ambiguous or one you needed to think about afterwards though either.

I still have my imported dvd somewhere, might give it a blast actually

Hey,

I`d recommend you give it another whirl after looking through the discussions on IMDB maybe. It was pretty straight forward though from what I remember.. I loved Tale of Two Sisters, but at that point I`d been watching alot of Asian stuff that really helped me get into the vibe.

I wouldn`t recommend The Uninvited though, personally i thought it was complete and utter rubbish!
