Does anyone know if the case for the region 2 dvd is plastic or one of those rubbish Carboard ones?

from what i can make out of the crappy pictures it looks like a plastic case but i could be wrong, Warner have done 2-disk sets in the cardboard snappers.

Eel,
My understanding is it will be similar to to recent Matrix 2 disk (film + Matrix revisited) using what is known as a digibox, this was also mentioned in press release. Cardboard sleeve with pull out containing the disks on plastic holders. Also used for Hitchhickers Guide to the Galaxy etc. Warner in the UK do not use plastic cases, need to buy from Australia if want one.

I can confirm that the packaging will be a cardboard case, pulling out to reveal 2 plastic discs holders and a booklet...in the same vain as "The Terminator" et al. However, I myself thought the movie was too over-sentimental crap, so I don`t really advise buying it.

X-)

I CAN CONFIRM that the packaging is the same as the 2-disc box Gladiator and Final fantasy!!!! I hope this has cleared it up. :-)

Just received my Region 1 copy of A.I. and I am very impressed with the packaging.
It is a plastic case (not cardboard rubbish that disintegrates if you accidentally spill a drink on it !!) which opens to reveal two plastic `pages` one holding disc 1 the other holding disc 2 and a nice little booklet also.
As for the film, pleasantly surprised by it as I had not read any reviews so did not know what to expect.
Overall I would give it 8/10, the special effects and DTS sound (especially when the Meccas are being chased through the forest by the Moon !!) were literally out of this World ...... !!

Just received a copy of A.I. but its region 2. Yes there are two discs in a fold out wallet with a box the same as region 1 although there is no DTS sound and no booklet. Apart from that had a flick through the discs and it seems quite good will let you know later what the extras are like.
