Page 1 of Driven Underated film

I saw this last night on dvd and the transfer and the sound was awesome. I found the film to be very entertaining as well. Not a classic by anymeans but no where near as cr*p as reviews say. There are hints of days of thunder but this movie was much more up to date with brilliant special effects and editing. I`m considering buying this now. Whats the best region for it?

D-tox i saw at the cinema.and i loved it.i look forward to its DVD Release. The Ending in Driven does not look so far fetched since last weekends Grand Prix.
I was going to but the vcd of D-Tox but didn`t know is was cut- think I`ll wait for the DVD. Thanks for the info STORMTROOPER.
I got this out last night on the recommendation of this group, and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was.
OK, you have to ignore the `Wendsleydale Valley` full of cheesey bits, but the audio and video transfer is one of the best I have seen and heard. The actual action scenes are good. The best scene in the film is after the party in chicago where the new cars are being displayed. If you have seen the film you will know what I mean.
Also I have to say the usage of CGI is justified in the race sequences, just listen the the surround when you are in an incar shot looking forward, with the engine going behind you.
On the downside the actor who plays Brubecker (I think thats his name), Bys main rival is so wooden he should take up the job as a fence.
It is a real no brainer to watch when you cant be bothered to think and sly is not totally awful in this film.
Sean
I read a while back that with Sly being a serious fan of this kind of racing, really wanted to do an authentic down to earth film but was pressured by the Hollywood bosses into producing this entertaining no brainer film.
Just got mine from dddhouse yesterday and having enjoyed the race bits in FnF I am looking forward to watching the race scenes (with the volume turned up off course!!).
