I bought 2 games from there on Saturday.
I could have sworn the guy said they`ll give you a refund if you return games within 10 days, and if over 10 days you can, of course, trade them in at a reduced value.
Anyone know about the 10 day return ?
I bought Stuntman and Hitman 2, and I hate them both equally !
Yeah you can return them, not sure if you can just get a refund?
I think maybe you have to chose a different game instead?

You can get a refund but only if you paid via Cash or Debit card. And obviously if you abuse it a bit too much they wont take kindly to it however I`ve made good use of their 10 Day exchange policy and never ran into any bother! Does help if you aren`t sure about buying "that" particular game etc as you know you can safely return or exchange it if it turns out to be crap!
Also cheaper than renting and you get longer! :D
Oh that`s fine by me
Didn`t expect a refund
Must say I`m encouraged by Game`s attitute.
Trade-ins and returns within 10 days ?
Very fair.
Their loyalty card is worth £3 as well.

`Game` is very good as when I bought a PC game where the spec was to high for my computer, there was no fuss and got a refund and I paid with cash.
The second hand deals are good as well, you get 10 days to return if it does not work, I got MDK2 for the PS2 today for £12.95 which is good.
I think I should get a backhander from GAME for all this praise or at least 10,000 loyalty points!!!!

HMV still have the better return policy, you get about 21 days to return something + there is the added bonus of student discounts 10% off.

Game are good, I only had one bad experience. I went to the store in Rugby once and got treated very badly, I made a complaint and they sent me loads of vouchers!
All the other ones I`ve been to are excellent. Usually I ask them for advice on a game, and they`ll be more than happy to talk to you! Most of the staff are gamers themselves.
I traded in over £100 worth of old crap once. I felt a bit embarrassed about it, but the person serving thought it was quite funny! They had to get another assistant as I was holding up the queue!!!

Do HMV actually allow this then, I`ve only ever returned 2 DVDs as they were faulty and exchanged them for the same DVDs. If you opened up a DVD or game played it and then returned it saying you didn`t like it surely they would say hard cheese, wouldn`t they?
A few years ago I gots a PlayStation 1 game from HMV and took it back without problems

No, HMV are really good. I always play the game and if I don`t like it I take it back no problem, dvds as well. They ask you if there is anything wrong with it I just say, "no", and that is it, I get my money back. What they hate is when people say something is faulty when it is not.
