Page 1 of Mafia on the PS2... any good?

I remember seeing a preview years ago for the game `Mafia` on the PC. But when it came out there was no f*cking way it was going to run on my system. But I noticed that it has just been released on the PS2. Anyone played the PS2 version and is it any good? :)

Apparently it`s cut down, simpler and nowhere near as good. Slow, sluggish and unresponsive. Great on the PC though.

That`s enough for me. Guess I won`t be buying it.

It`s absolutely frickin` awesome on the PC, but I can`t imagine the game would port well onto the PS2. Check out Gamerankings.com for reviews, chewie.

On the PC Mafia is a fantastic game , one of the best , but NEVER under any circumstances buy the ps2 version.The graphics are awful , its like a ps1 game and it has a lot of the pc version cut from it. Trust me dont buy it , i cant wait to take it to trade in at game , its annoying me just sitting on my shelf.
