with every one going mad about spidy, what was the name of the coin-up from the early 90`s staring spiderman and hawkeye? from what i remember it was great.

can you get it MAME ??

I was just remembering the Atari version as well...if I remember correctly you had to move up a building whilst the goblin fired down at you..what a classic

i have about 4000 mame roms, i`ll have a look through em if you want :)

To the best of my knowledge, only one Spiderman game is emulated in MAME, that being from 1980. :/

There have been a couple of arcade games as far as I remember. I think there was an Avengers game featuring Hawkeye, side scrolling beat`em up type game (4 player in the arcade like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) www.highwaygames.com/body.php3?action=prod&pg=C&index=2 , I think there`s also an incarnation of Marvel Super Heroes featuring them both (2D Streetfighter clone).

Aye, the 4 player game with Spiderman, Hawkeye etc was made by Sega in 1991, and will run in MAME (the graphics aren`t 100% but I didn`t notice any major problems). Just had a quick game, plays like Double Dragon.

My friends and I used to hammer this when we were younger. I downloaded it for Mame a while back, but it`s just not the same as playing on the full-sized cabinet. I remember how amazing we all thought the scalign effects were when it would zoom out for the srollign bits, then zoom back in. And of course it had Venom, who is a cool character.
