righto i`m going to try a bit of organisation here i reckon (funds withstanding) i`m gonna get a 360 on the day of release blockbuster are doing the following "pack"

Well I just preordered one through play.com so if they come through with mine at launch I was thinking of getting Call of Duty 2 depending on reviews

I also preodered the Vga cable connector £17.99 (hi-def deserves to be played through my monitor)

should do, but maybe we could do with some advice from peeps like jamesL as they have x-box live already & the setup will probably be the same (for the record i`ll be going through a belkin router)

SO as for the games, the current poll is as follows

PERFECT DARK ZERO = 1Point
PROJECT GOTHAM RACING 3 1Point
CALL OF DUTY 2 = 1Point

dependant on reviews & also i reckon we shouldn`t limit ourselves to a single game, feel free to put more than 1 game foreward for the vote :) but remember, we`re looking for good LIVE games :)

well ........a good LIVE game might be Quake 4 or Halo 3 (dunno if available at launch though)

no news on halo 3 :( so i reckon thsta out, but quake 4 is aparently a possability :) so the revised list is as follows.

If you haven`t already pre-ordered it, don`t hold your breath on getting one this side of Christmas.

BTW I ordered PGR3 with mine (also from Play).

The 360 broadband setup should be the same as xbox::

(this is from one of my previous posts)

for a wired connection you`ll need a

modem/router

and then some CAT5 ethernet cable to run to your xbox


That`s my configuration.. there are other ways of getting set up, but a modem/router and CAT5 ethernet cable is the easiest. If you want to go the wireless way.. I have no experience of that, although I understand it`s a lot easier than it used to be.

So let me get this straight, the Xbox will be capable of Hi-Def, so by buying a relevant cable we can plug it into a PC monitor and this will give us a HD picture quality?

Also, I`m really not going to trust those pictures you`ve posted Ogster until I`ve seen the games running in real time. Alot of those don`t appear to be in-game to me - but then I may be wrong.

Not sure if I`ll get Xbox Live when I get my 360, because I never really got into it before when I had it on my normal Xbox. But we`ll see - I`m still not sure if I`ll get one on the opening day, or just wait for it to be chipped.
