Fixed (hopefully) the occasional youtube video bug.
Mario Kart is the best racing game for the Wii, don`t be put off by its cartoony image.

If you`re after a good driving game, then you`ll absolutely love Excite Truck. What a fantastic game! We still play it all the time. Trouble is though, outside of that and Mario Kart, there really is nothing else of note in the driving genre on the Wii.
The Wii gets a bad rep from the so called hardcore, but I`ve been playing games since the Speccy days (I remember all the format wars!) and I love the Wii. It`s not an all-singing all-dancing HD console though, so do have a good look into what type of stuff you`ll be playing once wifey has exhausted Wii Fit.
If you don`t get Mario Galaxy, I`ll be seriously disappointed in you though! :D It should be de-facto standard first purchase for any new Wii owner. ;)

Galbadia Hotel returns! Classic videogame OST`s and more.
Wait for the newer version of the console :B
Well, the wii now comes with wii sports and wii sports resort with the motion plus attachment included for the old price of £179.99, so that`s a good bundle before you add wii fit. You should probably get wii fit plus though as that is new out, and a better option than the original fit game.
As said above, Mario Kart is the best racing game, but also grab a copy of Excite Truck, which should be cheap as it was one of the original release line up. There aren`t any serious racing games on the wii (that are any good anyway)
There`s a good selection of preschool games out now, so that shouldn`t be too hard. Mario Party 8 is worth a look, as are the Cooking Mama games. Lots of Dora the Explorer and stuff like that out there too now. Browse Amazon. ;)

is this the black one?
no, it`s the poo, and apparently......it`s a bit harder :p
Game are doing a deal of Wii, Motion Plus and summat else games wise for the £179 for this week only.
The cynic in me can`t help thinking there`s been tons of rumours about a "wii 2" with hi-def capability that`s come to nothing but the Wii is now taking it`s first serious price drops/bundle hits since it came on the market so leaves me thinking that post-chrimmie there may be something in the water....
Anyway, only serious "must have" accessories are the motion plus and rechargable battery packs (assuming extra controllers was a given there), everything else is a gimmick especially the tennis raquets and shizzle.
The gun fittings and the steering wheel ones do help with shooters/Mario Kart but don`t buy original or expensive ones, you can get both in Poundland for... erm... a quid each ;)

And regards WiiFit/+ just had a thought....
WiiFit+ is just a software difference, hardware in the box is the same.
The disc itself is selling around £20.
If you can find an original WiiFit (some places daft enough to sell them off as a "new" one is out etc or second hand) then you can still add the + for the £20 disc.
However... also be aware that about 90% of everyone I know (myself included) who have bought the balance board used it about twice then shoved it back in the box/under the bed etc and virtually never use it now.
Friend and her daughter were crying out for the balance board, I loaned them mine.
They had it for about 3 weeks and the only time it was used was when I was showing them how to set it up.
