Page 1 of GTA 6 announced by Rockstar

Out of the blue yesterday Rockstar announced that GTA VI is 'well under way', which in real terms means there's about another 5 years at least before we see any of it, judging by the longevity of V's marketing campaign.

And it had better be good. As Ghilliemaster mentioned a few months ago, for it to be accepted as a worthy successor to V it has to have more content in both story mode & online than its predecessor does right now 

Which probably means half a terabyte and £100 at least.

I can't say I'm all that excited. Most of the lead creative forces behind the series (like Dan Houser, Leslie Benzies, Lazlow Jones etc) have all left Rockstar after RDR2.

This announcement seems designed to give TakeTwo's stock price a boost more than anything else.

Really very meh, actually. Aside from the clearly updated graphics engine, just looks like more of the same. Not too sure how keen I am to update my PC for this one.

Looks amazing and more of the same as expected by pretty much everyone. Why would they change a thing?..
This will be a £70 release I reckon.
That's not 'just' an updated engine, that's pretty much the best graphics in any game up to now I think and embarrassing for the likes of Bethesda and Ubisoft. The level of detail and number of characters on screen is ridiculous.
