E3 is cancelled again (this time for good, not just for COVID). Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest takes the spotlight again with a series of livestreams from most of the major publishers to showcase their upcoming titles. Here is a rundown of the events, starting with Sony tomorrow:
Playstation Studios - State of Play
Wednesday May 24th | 9pm BST
Twitch | Youtube
What I want to see: Ghost of Tsushima PC port, Dino Crisis remake (I can dream!)
What they will probably show: Spider-Man 2, The Last of Us multiplayer game, Silent Hill 2 remake, Final Fantasy something or other...
Summer Game Fest
Thursday June 8th | 8pm BST
Twitch | Youtube
What I want to see: Valve's major AAA games that Gaben mentioned they were working on back before Half Life Alyx was announced.
What they will probably show: Apparently there will be 3 - 4 big reveals but I have no idea what.
Future Games Show
Saturday June 10th | 6pm BST
Twitch | Youtube
What I want to see: Flashback 2 and maybe something new in the real time tactics genre.
What they will probably show: Pixel-art indies, pretty platformers, maybe a sim or two...
Microsoft / Xbox Games (+ Bethesda)
Sunday June 11th | 6pm BST
Twitch | Youtube
What I want to see: Avowed, State of Decay 3, Wolfenstein 3
What they will probably show: Starfield, Hellblade 2, maybe Outer Worlds 2, yet another Forza game...
They really need a win after the disaster that was Redfall. Sadly, I doubt Starfield will be it :(
PC Gaming Show
Sunday June 11th | 9pm BST
Twitch | Youtube
What I want to see: Shadow Gambit, Trrepang2, IGI Origins
What they will probably show: More city builders, survival/crafting games, puzzle games etc.
Ubisoft Forward
Sunday June 12th | 6pm BST
Twitch | Youtube
What I want to see: Splinter Cell remake!
What they will probably show: Assassin's Creed Mirage (and possibly one of the other four AC titles currently in development), Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Skull and Bones (again) and XDefiant. Maybe even their new open world Star Wars game.
Steam Next Fest
June 19th - 26th
A selection of demos for upcoming games will be available.
Usually there are a handful of promising titles in there. Last year the aforementioned Trepang2 was a particular highlight.
EA is sitting this year out, Nintendo haven't announced anything. Sometimes the likes of Capcom, Bandai/Namco and Take2 Interactive do their own shows but no news on that front yet, either.
Will post some highlights as the events are broadcast. Hopefully they will announce something decent!

So, no Ghost of Tsushima PC port (yet), but a few nice and unexpected announcements.
The Talos Principle is one of my all-time favourites so I'm super hyped for this:
Some more highlights:
Also shown: Spider-Man 2, Dragon's Dogma 2, some new PVP extraction shooter from Bungie called Marathon, Alan Wake 2, probably some other stuff that isn't nearly as cool as Talos Principle 2.
Also announced: Project Q - a new handheld Playstation device designed around remote streaming:

I really need to finish The Talos Principle VR, I think I was on the third main area (think there are four then you go up a tower?).

I think it was three main areas, then the tower (unless you go through the door... [don't])
I would imagine the tower must be quite an experience in VR.
