This is the Japanese version you have? how difficult is it navigating the menu,s? also have the graphics improved drastically?

I like the Winning Eleven Series (ISS) but the graphics have taken second place to gameplay in previous episodes.

I am looking for a good football game but dont know what to go for ...either Virtua Stiker 3 for GameCube or this game.

Virtua Striker,s Graphics run at a constant 60fps with bold big graphics but only supports worldcup teams.

What do you think?

the menus are more or less laid out the same as previous versions so u can play cup and league games pretty easily...though some of the modes like master league, training and the editing sections are more complicated and you will probably have some trouble with them.

Gameplay is spot on with this version m8, 3 times as much animation for each player as Winning 11 5 FE and the whole thing moves a lot smoother, passing game is sharper and there are numerous other little touches and improvements been made...although the names are all in jap ull recognise most of the players and probably like the little individual touches they have like goal celebrations, dribbling skills...eg Raul sometimes automatically brings the ball under his foot and runs in on goal whereas a worse striker cannot do this technique as well...Chilavert also went awol several times even when no one was using triangle to bring him out...Barthez apparently takes goal kicks like his real life counter part...these little touches make the game.

Beats any other footy game hands down really, only gripe i have is it slows down occasionally in multiplayer but its something and nothing compared to everything else about it...dont bother with Virtua Striker 3 looks nice but its going to be shallow compared to this....

Theres probably going to be translation faqs and likely to be a translation patch for the game anyway...

This game is NOT ISS thats done by another Division of konami and is crap compared to Winning Eleven, that is why WE6 is not going to the cube.

Yes, ISS 2 is coming to GC. It`ll be one of the launch titles on May 3rd.
