pc version is a bastard to get workin right, but will be worth getting for the mods that come out for it.

Go for the PS2 version as you need a kick ass graphics card or a crap one tweaked up to get a good frame rate.

I`ve heard loads of complaints about it on PC, with FPS being really low on even high end systems, might just have problems with XP or something.

What I`d do if I were you, buy it for PC, if you can`t get it working good take it back and say "oh yer, I picked it up for the wrong thing, can I change?"

or even better balme it on your granny and say she got you the wrong one for your B`day :)

As I understand it, if your PC meets the minimum specs listed on the box, but the game still doesn`t work properly, you should be entitled to a refund, no question. "Fitness for purpose" and all that. You shouldn`t have to blame it on yer gran or whatever.

I would ask the shop up front - "if it doesn`t work on my PC, can I get a refund?" If they say no, or get evasive, don`t buy it from them.

Anyway, I couldn`t be bothered with it - I`d just get a warez version to test it out, and buy the game later if (a) it works and (b) you like it.
