Just wondered if anyone could help me. Having had an unfortunate collision with a pavement, i have chipped three of my front teeth. Nowadays are the capping jobs done by dentists really good? and will there be any noticeable difference from before?
I chipped a front tooth about 9 years ago in school - playing tennis with a pot of glue for the ball and table tops for bats. Dentist fixed it and not noticable.
Were you p***ed at the time? ;-)
I asked my dentist about capping recently, and he said that it`s not worth doing unless you`ve really damaged your tooth, because they have to remove more of the tooth to fit the cap. Now that I think about it, it`s probably a bit pricey too. Still, depends how knackered your teeth are really, doesn`t it?

Its a bit pricey, but the results re fantastic!
hmm..just had a peek at that site...there`s a section on fees that says..
"All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT. Unless marked with an asterisk*, prices are quoted per tooth."...and just above that :-
Whitening treatment £425
so..er...£425 multiplied by however many teeth you have left and which need whitening...
almost enough to make your teeth hurt.
