Adding a search feature to a web-site - how easy is it?

Title says it all really. It`s a search feature for the contents of the site not an external search of the web.

Thanks
Ross.

Are u referring to this web site or one you`re making?

If you have dynamic content coming out of a DB then it is fairly easy, altho of course primitive SQL statements won`t work too well.

If you have static pages, then you`ll need some form of perl script to do it for you - you can probably find one at http://www.cgi-resources.com

And if you`re referring to this web site, then it has plenty of search features.

That site looks very useful. Have also heard lots of good things about Atom search although I use PHP to search my own site.
