17in. TFT monitor for my pc was top of my meagre list....not one pair of socks and no aftershave either.

a shiny new panasonic dmr-hs2 recordable dvd player with fully multi-region and rce compatibility was the top pressie in my sac.

I thought only burglars emptied their whatits in your living room ;-))

Me got loverly astonishly brilliant ( for our scottish readers ) Yamaha DSP-AX630 amp to replace my ageing prologic receiver ( thanks for the review Westy ) and I`ve got over a hundred dvds to watch again to hear what I`ve been missing.
It`s like getting a hundred odd dvds from santa as well. YIPPEEEE !!!!

I bought my parents a phillips dvd player but the problem is you spend loads of money buying presents for friends and family but never seem to buy anything for yourself.

Well this year i went a bit mad and got myself a little gift a brand new car cost £14,000. The crazy things is i`m only 23 and had my licence for 6 months

Anyone else went crazy and decided to buy themselves something.

kywy....I am thinking of buying this amp myself, can you point me to the review Westy gave. I bought myself an early Chrismas present which was a new TV....Toshiba 36" Progressive Scan with built in Dolby Digital 5.1.

The TV has the best picture i have seen but DD is only in 5.1, i want prologic 2 and DTS, i have a lot of region 3 movies and on a few of them you only get a choice of DD2.0 or DTS...there is no 5.1.

Any chance of giving me the measurements of the reciever as well.

Your help much appreciated.
