They disobeyed a direct order, not to fire, because they were whizzing their tits off.

I can`t believe An Air Force physician praised on the use of amphetamines by two U.S. fighter pilots who bombed a Canadian infantry unit in Afghanistan, saying fatigue, not "speed," kills.



What??? HELLO!!!

Amphetamine is a stimulant drugs. It increases breathing and heart rate, lessen appetite and make the pupils widen. Users tend to feel more alert, energetic, confident and cheerful and less bored or tired.

With high doses people often experience a rapid flow of ideas and feel they have increased physical and mental powers.

If you continue to take a lot, especially over a few days, it can produce panic and paranoia. The strong `upper` effect can be particularly dangerous to people who have heart or blood pressure problems.

The US Army troops used and continued to use the drugs in the Korean and Vietnam wars. In the Vietnam war, it resulted in alot of soldiers shooting their own people.

And they wonder why they lost Vietnam!

They did it again in Gulf War 1 they did it again in Afghanistan, but they shot and killed a few UK soldiers.

If I were in the UK army my main fear wouldn`t be from being shot at by the Iraqis but by the US!

Modern war, of course, has nothing to do with hoying massive amount of high explosives at one`s enemy in order to reduce casualties in the long run. Nothing to do with fog, confusion, and deception. Nothing to do with countless acts of misidentifaction.

Would you like me to quote incidents stretching far back in history, like the time British soldiers fired on Dutch troops at the battle of Waterloo because they wore blue uniforms?

When the US is brave enough to field 99% of the troops in combat operations, you`ve got to expect some blue-on-blue incidents. Imagine your poor girlfriend`s nephew trying to tackle Iraq without US support. We could hardly take back the Falklands.

Does anyone else remember the Gulf War part one ( hopefully they won`t see the need to make this a trilogy ) when the Americans opened fire and killed British soldiers.............but hey, it was okay because it was "friendly fire", they didn`t mean to kill our own soldiers.....but.......they were moving and that made them a justifiable target!!!!!

I`m not a racist, I just think the Americans are a bunch of hypocrites where they say `we must stop these terrorists` yet plow money and support the IRA, celebrate Evacuation Day:- where the British lost and left Boston, and countless propaganda books and countless propaganda films about the scummy British Vs American, Ireland.

Countless yanks slagging us off and other various countries around the world on the Yahoo message board, especially countless heartless messages about Canada and the Canadian troops who were bombed by the yanks.

So don`t you accuse me of being a racist where you got these scum bags stirring up s*** for no reason, but just to make themselves look good.

Very good point floyd, for years these scumbags raised funds in America through NORAID for the IRA with the slogan "every dollar you donate buys bullets to kill a British soldier", real friendly!

Now they can have thier own men do it instead of financing the IRA to do it. It will be brushed under the carpet the same way it was in 1990.

For years they supported terrorism but now it`s on thier own doorstep they don`t like it, it`s too close for comfort.

I 100% agree with Floyd too. At the end of the day American troops are just under trained, uneducated yanks.
Why should we fight a war alongside the Americans, which really is only going to benefit them because at the end of the day this war is about OIL.
I would love to see how the Americans would handle this situation on their own without the British Government behind them.
I don`t want to see British troops die, especially by American "friendly fire".
