Johnathan Creek - Honest opinions
It`s not as good, or as challenging as it was. Plus the loss of Caroline Quentin is extremely telling. It`s interesting that Ade Edmonson has been given a decent role at last, but Julia Sawalha, bless her, just isn`t Maddy...
RE: Johnathan Creek - Honest opinions
Whoever that blonde is that has replaced the fat Caroline has made it a much better watch!
How can you watch such a second rate program when CSI, CSI Miami and Law & Order show sequentially on Channel 5 ?
It`s the only television in the week I try never to miss, any other fans ?
Oh, all comments are IMHO of course ;-))
RE: Johnathan Creek - Honest opinions
The Blonde is Julia Sawalha, who used to be in press gang, but was most recently seen as `Saffy` in absolutely Fabulous. Yes, she does scrub up nice.. but back to the original point, please, people.....
I never watched the earlier ones, I have to admit, but this series seems good - interesting dynamics between Julia and Alan (sizzling sexual chemistry). Ade Edmondson is excellent too...
And hell, I used to slobber at the thought of that feisty Press Gang editor, like the best of `em ;-)

Quite amusing last night, but not as good as the previous series, I don`t think.
Re CSI - what`s going on there? I thought it was on on Tuesdays? I was looking forward to the second part of last tuesday`s episode - have I missed it now?

No, your fine,
Its a rerun of series 2 ? so an extra fix of CSI each week.;-)
RE: Johnathan Creek - Honest opinions
It`s still a very good show IMO (certainly one of the highlights of the week), although I think Renwick has already used the best mysteries in earlier episodes.
I love the fact that I almost never work anything out!. I did guess who the killer was in last weeks episode (although I couldn`t work out how) but I was in the dark all the way through the latest one.
RE: Johnathan Creek - Honest opinions
I knew the housekeeper was in on it somehow, but the twists at the end kinda threw me. It`s still not as good as the originals, especially `The Black Canary`
RE: Johnathan Creek - Honest opinions
I thought it was rubbish and those twists are too,too contrived these days
