Things work according to demand and supply.
In a Zoo, since there are no other shops around you have 3 options
A) pay over the top prices B) bring a packed lunch C) Go home.
Same thing goes for everywhere. At my uni, they do a Jacket Potato with Cheese for £1.50 which is the cheapest ive seen it. Still expensive for something that wouldnt even cost 10p to purchase uncooked. I also find prices for food in shopping centres a bit expensive.
Or don`t go to the zoo. Everywhere you go in this country is the same you either pay the prices or don`t have it.!!! Warwick Castle larger cup of Nescafe coffee £1, bargain? Tasted nice too. :-)
went to ikea in birmingham last week, before 11 you get bacon sausage egg beens tomato and 2 hash browns tea or coffee or pop and a bun for a quid, yes a quid.... talking about being over charged or what!!!!!!
