Page 1 of can`t uninstall kazaa

have tried to uninstall kazaa on windows xp ,but keep getting close program first before uninstaling how do i do this ?

Press Ctrl (hold) then Alt (hold the two) then Del, then release all three. Window`s Task Manager should come up. Under "Applications" untick Kazaa.

When you close the Kazaa main window, the program is still running in the background. Signified by a little `K` in the bottom right-hand corner, near the clock.

You can use Bat`s method above, or to use less fingers, right-click on the little `K` symbol, and click `Close Kazaa media desktop`

You might want to give it the once-over with Ad Aware once you`ve finished, as well - uninstalling Kazaa doesn`t necessarily uninstall all of the spyware crap that it comes with.

Yes, kazaa has Spyware.
If you`re gonna put it back on, install kazaa lite. Same app but Spyware removed.
