Page 1 of problems with reading files on wordpad

many times when i`ve tried to read document attachments from emails i`ve received, i can`t. Basically,the file downloads, then goes into wordpad to show it, but all the text isl scrambled and unreadable.is there any way of rectifying this at all?

What format are you trying to read from?

Try changing the file extensions - .doc .txt .rtf should all be read by wordpad.

Is it just crap or just all messed up on different lines?
Could just be `word wrap`?
