which movie or tv series has shocked you most when killing off a character?

Doctor Who - Death of Peri during the fat bastard`s time as the Doc. I know it turned out to be fake, but it was the last straw. The show had become "what do we do next? Dunno Let`s kill everybody".

Des Barnes looked like he was gonna pull through, sat up talking to that blonde barmaid that now sells three piece suites, when suddenly he collapsed and died. Bloody druggies.

when lisa faulkners character was killed in Spooks. It was the most horrific thing i have ever seen on the screen. I still have nightmares........

Ok,
Not TV but Aries death by Sephiroth in Final Fantasy 7 was a major shock.

I was like, noooo, she`s sposed to marry the hero:)

Serious, if you played it you would know what I mean.
