Return Of The King shivers?

The Ironduke (Elite) posted this on Tuesday, 16th September 2003, 16:47

I just had one.

Anyone else starting to get excited?

200,000 orcs attacking Minas Tirith Oh my :)

This trilogy has been an epic journey for both the people making it and the fans like me who have followed it.

The Trailers, The Website, thepreording of Posters, Cinema Tickets, DVD`s rumours, Hype Legend.

Finally in December it arrives...............MY precious!

Indeed I can`t wait. I still remember coming out of Fellowship thinking "Now I`ve got to wait a year to see the next part" :/

Still, not as bad as waiting three years for each Star Wars movie. Can`t wait for Episode 3 :D

Indeed chewie how Lucas is gonna cram all that jazz into one final episode I dont know.

anyway lets keep this LOTR please.

I am one of those people who has read the books, so i know the ending, for me its the visual journey in getting there that entices me so much.

I read the books over three weeks when I was about 19.

Worked at Harrods and read them on the train to work, at 30min tea break and then hour lunch break, then on the train home, every weekday. Just throwing that in for those who think I was a fast reader, as that adds up to so many hours clearly I`m not. :)

Brilliant piece of work, and the best thing is although I can remember bits, seeing the films is like reliving the whole wonderful experience for the first time, without the london underground in the way.

I have read Book One (as in half of Fellowship ;) ), but haven`t gone back to read the rest. I will after I see Return Of The King though.

I really enjoyed it, and I can`t think why I haven`t read the rest :/
