Page 1 of Anyone just returned from Tenerife ( Playa De Las Americas ) ??

Hi there, I`m going on a `lads` holiday to Las Americas on friday, not been for a few years and was wondering whether anyone has just got back and would like to comment on whether they had a good holiday, pub/club recommendations, etc.
I`ve checked the weather and that seems more than fine !!
I last went beginning of December `98, the pubs on Veronicas were busy even then, what`s it like this time of year ??

i havent just come from tenerife, but i was there a year ago, i thought it was brill, i had soooo much fun. i went with my family and we had a great time. we shopped in playa de las americas but we stayed in la caleta which is a fishing village nearby. that was nice. la la caleta is quiet but playas de las americas is more livley and there is more of a nightlife there. you will enjoy it. it is great this time of the year!!!!!

Probably too late if you`re going today MOBY but I was there at easter and Veronicas was in the process of being gutted / demolished. Someone said that it wasn`t being replaced with clubs and bars but with hotels.

Didn`t really look for nightlife but it must have been out there somewhere as our neighbours rolled in at 5am every morning totally sozzled.

I went there late August and was shocked when I saw a Wetherspoons and a Yate`s Wine Lodge there! It`s a bit of a dump down there, but the nightlife is fun. I stayed in a resort a few miles away and we popped down to that Veronica`s area a few times.
