Page 1 of Comet + Proline2000 update... They still won`t listen!!!

A few weeks ago I posted a message about Comet not replacing the above piece of crap, even though it malfunctioned in front of them.
Just to let you know that 2 e-mails and 2 letters later, they have still not replied and they still have the machine.
What does it take to get through to these brain dead, money grabbing, fly- by- night con artistes?
I have now written to my local Trading Standards, "TotalDVD", BBC`s Watchdog, Citizen`s Advice and the Office of Fair Trading. Anybody got an other ideas? I want to make it as high profile as possible!

Sue them in the smalls claims court, you will win!

Look up the sales of goods act and see what your rights are!

Tell everybody you know never to buy from comet.

Find out who the big fish ( MD of comet ) is and hassle the bastard with letters and phone calls.

If you go the banner route, then keep moveing, else the police will nick you for obstruction.

Go on your local BBC radio phone in and tell them about it.

Go in and talk to the manager and grovel.

find out the phone number of your local comet service centre(where you player is ,probably) then phone them up and ask to speak to the service manager, then argue with him and if possible include the area service manager as well - let them know that you are not just an average punter but well into the dvd scene and know what you are talking about - thats what i did after a month without my pooline 2000 and now i have a nice shiny LG 3200e(great player) and no pooline crap!
