Wharfedale 750 - are there different revisions of this player?

The plight of the Jaws disk brings this to mind. If anyone can get it to work on their Wharf, please state how old the machine is.

I have a player I got in February, and it won`t play Jaws. If the new ones can, I think it`s time for a return to Tesco`s...

Wharfedale continue to deny that there have been ANY revisions of the player`s firmware. Also difficulties with discs seem to be unit specific, working on some but not others. This may even be a batch thing, who knows.

Like I say, I bought mine last month through the Tesco mail order thing because I couldn`t get it at my local shop.
Jaws works fine but I still get the annoying problem of the Subtitles defaulting on where some other players bought around the time don`t.
