Those buggers at EMI decided in their wisdom to make the new Beatles cd one of those lovely copy controlled discs. WHen will they learn these don`t stop the piraters and only p*** people off who actually pay money for the disc?

I buy cd`s and then rip them to mp3 in order to listen to them on my mp3 player on the way to work. Now I`ll be sending this disc back and just downloading the entire album from kazaa lite instead.

Way to go EMI. Great thinking on your part.

I just downloaded it in mp3 in the first place. Whoops, did I say that out loud? :)

My copy is not copy controlled. Bought it from Asda on the day of release. I wonder if they have just introduced it or whether it was only on some discs.

Is yours the opne disc version? I ordered the 2 disc version from Play.

Mine is also the 2-disc version.

I have been able to rip copy controlled disc with iTunes (free version downloaded from net) without problems so far. Youi can then of course re-encode a cd from the mp3 files (shuld you want a spare copy for the car or anything..)

Copied my 2 discer with no problems. :/

Bought my 2 disc-er from CDWow. I can play it OK on the ole PC, but it does a very discreete copy protection notice in the cover
