These sound like Richer Sounds players, and there`s nowt wrong with that. The Cyberhome AD-M212 (the one with the SCART socket) definitely plays back CD-R/RW (check out March 2001 edition of Total DVD p76) and the Ariston definitely plays back CD-Rs (dunno about CD-RWs).

The Himage is the world`s smallest player ever, but I`ve not seen many complaints. Don`t know a great deal about the Logix.

If you`re going for one of them, the Cyberhome MAY be the best bet - it`s multi-region, altho` the picture ain`t the best - but for £130 it`s a Billy Bargain, I think. (No, sorry I don`t have one)

The logix 3000 is as versatile as the MiCO DVD A980. It`ll do anything you ask of it.
Only ever heard s*** reviews of the Ariston.
