like it say`s :( is there a way that won`t damage the screen (would surgical spirit be ok ?)

Coke (original) and Bounce Kitchen roll (about half a roll), as well as some firm but fair elbow grease

Having no cola in the house, i tackled some of the ink in one off the corner`s (my young son did a very comprehensive job of getting the marker corner to corner) using a cotton bud and surgical spirit`s waited to see if anything melted, it seemed fine so i carefully cleaned the rest using cotton bud`s and following with a slightly damp cloth, thankfully it`s turned out ok, :D in fact it`s cleaner than it`s ever been (tho i would`t recomend this method as routine)

Surgical Spirit? It must bloody stink now :o

The best way for future reference is to get a non permanent marker pen,and write over the top of the permanent one then wipe off. Wola The offending marks are gone.

Yup - can vouch for that. Used to work on whiteboards too, mackems :)

A bit like the old red wine-white wine gag.
