Me and 5 of the lads plan to go away the weekend after next for a mini break as an excuse to get drunk somewhere else and a different scenery if you know what i mean. Any suggestions would be great ......... Somewhere with nice bars, nightclubs and the usual stuff. cheers

Where are you now? Its hard to suggest somewhere different without all the facts ;)

I would say any Uni town is a good bet.

Newcastle is always good for me (since I live there)

It`s been a bit too busy recently though, it takes forever to get served at the bar and the place is packed like a mosh-pit.

But aside from that, it`s easy to get to on the train and has cheap accomodation.

UW`s suggestion of any uni town is pretty good to stick to - although Durham and St Andrews are both Universities without much of a night life so use your loaf when making a choice!

Liverpool is good, as long as you remember you Kevlar. ;)
