As the header suggests.

Going on my honeymoon on September 5/6th for a week.

Can`t recommend a cheap self catering apartment - but I`ll tell you its cheap for everything overthere!

Tram pass 12p.
Beer 72p - 90p a pint depending on how near the centre you are.
3 course meal (hotel price) £5 - £6
Big mac meal something like £1.50!!

Tell you what if a job came up I`ll be over there like a shot.

Yeah, not much point going self-catering to Prague!! It`s almost too cheap to eat out, you feel guilty when the bill comes and it`s less then a tenner between two of you, after you`ve stuffed yourself senseless and drunk yourself numb! :D Go on, it`s your honeymoon ;)

Vinohrady is a very nice area, and very central. Try Expedia.co.uk for some good deals. have fun in Praha!

Thanks guys

We are paying for this wedding and honeymoon ourselves, so are trying to keep it as cheap as possible. Neither of us are flash people.

How much spending money do you reckon that we will need for the week (or 7 nights).

I should be getting a bonus in August from work of approx £1k after taxes, so we are hoping to do the lot on that.

Are we being over ambitious on that?

I have found the flights on easyjet for £92 for the pair of us, and hotels seem to be around £50 per night for something decent in the centre, leaving about £500 spending money between us.

Does anyone know what the weather is like in prague at that time of year? Neither of us are beach bunnies, but it would be nice to have reasonable weather
