Do-gooder or Do-badder?

Butterfield8 (Elite) posted this on Tuesday, 27th April 2004, 17:02

Following on from the "Stolen Plasma" thread, and in particular a lot of peoples righteous postings about morals etc, I just wondered how many of us on here can, honestly, say that they have stayed "clean" throughout the whole of their life?

I, for one, will admit to smoking the `erb....probably not the worst thing I`ve ever done but illegal all the same!

So.......anyoone out there like to say that they`ve been a goody-goody all their lives??? :-)

*EDIT* - By the way, I only smoke it - at home, don`t grow it or sell it! :-) (just in case the mods see this thread as condoning illegal behaviour!)

I`m as pure as the driven snow...except for being banned from every Somerfield shop in the UK.

The manager reduced my Mrs to tears when she worked as a cleaner in the shop.
I told him if he did it again I would kick his head in. Didn`t know someone else was behind the door and heard every word. He informed the police. They gave me a warning, and Somerfield sent me a letter barring me from all their shops. That was 14 years ago, and the bastards still at the shop. And still a bully. But I did get my own back at him in a non violent way and was never caught.

Nope, I think you`ll find no one can honestly say they have never broken the law.
But then, most people probably haven`t done anything serious.

Me, well, I break the law all the time by filming without a permit.

And when I was younger:

Underage drinking, sex and seeing 18 certificate movies. But who didn`t? ;)
Oh, and quite a lot of tresspassing, but it was a building site and was really cool 8)

Morality is like lying. And ive told a few white lies in my time, if you see my meaning.

We`ve all done things we arent particularly proud of. I still do. I try and be as good a person as i can. But im still not that great....

Aw, people can come up with statistics to prove anything, Kent.
Forty percent of all people know that.

Looking through this list, I was a little bit naughty when I was younger. All seemed a bit innocent at the time...

[*]Underage drinking (from about 15, became a Friday night regular in one local dive).
[*]A bit of cannabis smoking here and there.
[*]Trespassing around various places.
[*]Robbing vegetables from the farmers fields near our house when I was younger
[*]Shoplifting piles of magazines from WHSmiths when I was about 16 (it was easy, put the magazines you want into your mates hands standing next to you, pile it as high as you want and walk out).
[*]Playing a small part in the destroying of a local signboard. Got arrested for that actually. :o
[*]Stealing wingmirrors from cars.
[*]Downloading films, music, porn, software, games using the Internet (come on, we`ve all done it at some point. That`s what the Internet is for, right?)
[*]Copying CD`s and games.
[*]Killing our next door neighbour. -----> Joke joke!!! :D

Glad to see there are so many fellow lawbreakers on here.....although I still reckon we are all only telling the things that wont make the others on here think "he`s an arsehole".....
