Question for people that have been `Stung` by Customs

Carsonlad (Competent) posted this on Tuesday, 20th March 2001, 23:11

How long did it take for them to get there grubby little mits of the package?

Did you get something through the door or did you have to call the buggars in order for you to get your package?

What was the condition of the package when you received it?

yeah i had to wait a month for my package to be delivered cos it was being held in customs. I got a card from royal mail saying that the package was being held in a head post office and that there was a charge of £9.56. £1.20 of that the post office gets as a handling charge and the rest customs. Any help to you?

A certain US retailer sent me a DVD today airmail with a customs label identifying the contents as CD-ROM, value $US10. The envelope had the name of a person on the front rather than a company as the sender.

Now that`s what I call creative!
