Page 1 of Who`s been to Menorca?

Fancied a cheap week somewhere quiet and sunny before we have to start paying for the bambino (two in November). So (bearing in mind local departures) I thought of Menorca (or possibly Algarve), at end of September, maybe into October.
So where is the best place(s) to go? (my missus isn`t keen on `allocation on arrival`!) and is it still nice in October? (don`t want it too hot what with the fair-skinned bambino and all...)

We went to Cala N Bosch on the south east coast last year and I must say it was really nice. We stayed at the resorts namesake hotel and I would say the island in general is pretty much family orientated which was ideal for us as we have 2 young kids. My only concern for you would be the weather at that time of year as I`ve been told that from the end of September onwards (we went middle of august) it can rain a bit.

if your lookin for a very very very quiet family holiday then head on over... if not don`t.....

i went to Cala`n Forcat in high season and it was deader than Elvis. Go there if your idea of a fun holiday is being surrounded by sunburned brits and dememnted holiday reps.
