Book on PIC Chip Programming

Could somebody recomend a good book on PIC chips for the begginer, ie how they work, what you need to programme them ect....they just fascinate me, or any websites that might be of intrest.

Lads there robots waiting to be built!!!!

Bear, there are literally thousands of sites out there depending what you want the pic chip to do, and which pic chip you wanna program!!

My programmer cost £35 and does 12C series and 16C series pics.
It can do some others. but isn`t recommended.
