Page 1 of Never been drunk, Anyone else.????

Just wondered if anyone else has never been drunk in their lives so far. I`m 37 and not been yet.
I suppose I`m probaly at about 20-25 units so far this life time.
Not a T-totaller or anything or methodist etc, just don`t like the taste or a few things about it, twatty dad included.
Am I alone in a drunk free existance.

Im quite the opposite, drink about 1 or 2 times a week, in fact off on a stag doo this weekend to Benidorm (woo hoo!). I think my hardcore partying/drinking is down to the fact that ive been single for 2 years, and thats what me and my mates do

me neither, im one of those binge drinkers on a saturday night, never touch it in the week - well done to you though - im sure your healthier for it.......

Never actually been drunk but have been ill - four pints of bitter and over 1/2 a bottle of champagne induced vomiting ;)
I used to be quite a heavy drinker - up to 1/2 litre of vodka in a evening and still sober but have not drunk since my 21st birthday.

Got absolutely blotto once on neat rum during National Service. Was very sick the next day and ever since, can`t stand the smell of the stuff and never been drunk since. Not a T.T. however as have the occasional brandy or whisky or white wine.

Drunk copious amounts as a student, don`t drink to excess so often now.

Also started to dislike the taste of lager and poor wine, so end up drinking less on nights out.

Not much of a drinker. Can`t stand the stuff. Hate it when I go out and the streets are full of scumbag drunks being complete @sses. Next time a group of them approach me and my mates I`m gonna smash their heads in and give them a hangover they will never forget.

I have only been drunk once - I was 2 or 3 and my dad had taken me to the pub one evening. He was playing pool with a friend and their beers were on the table. Take a wild guess what I did. :D

The pub belonged to a church and was attached to the churchyard by stone steps and I always used to go down the steps, through the churchyard and climb off the wall at the bottom onto dad`s shoulders and he`d give me a piggyback home.

I fell straight down the steps and landed flat on my face! I got up without even crying!

I got home and mum was in bed, I went up and said "Mummy look at my black eye!" :D

I avoided drink for years because memories of a p***head father made me daftly paranoid about the stuff.
Now I can quite happily go out and get blootered in the knowledge that I can handle it quite happily.
In fact,the missus will tell you I`m tidier when p***ed !
For some reason I always manage to neatly fold and store my clothes even when plastered.
I have quite a routine going now,not that I go out that often.Perhaps twice a month.

Football - pub(s) - Chip shop - walk up street that all the taxis take back into town - p*** behind big oak tree in secluded gardens just off said street - wave down taxi on their way back into ranks in town. :D

Strangely enough,I really cannot stomach beer at home though.I find the taste quite horrible at home.I`d rather have a soft drink/cuppa.I have bottles/cans of beer at home that have been there for months.
I`m a draft and pub drinker only.
