yeah, f*****g cool site. as i said on my thread over in the retailer forum i got Life of Brian Criterion for £24.99 and Coyote Cgly for £14.99!!! also pre-ordered Close Encounters for £13.99. interesting to see how long theyre gonna take to get stuff out as theyre still waiting for some deliveries from the US.

coyote ugly £15 isnt that a bit much for a normal dvd. If it was special edition or limited edtion it would have been more worthwile. I`m sure its cheaper elsewhere like dvdbo or similar places

Dukey, I don`t think that all of the prices mentioned are opening offers. From what I`ve seen on the Supplier Forum at DVD Forum, Steve is very optimistic these `lower than Play 247` prices will be the norm.

I doubt it as Play247 have very low taxes, as they are based in the channel islands.

if this company can continue to sell at this price It will cause a shock wave through the business, which is why I doubt it.

The opening specials are clearly marked as a may only price. Everything else not marked may only is the normal price. Their normal prices are low. Anyone know where this company is based. Play did some dodgy stuff when i ordered from them, they sent it from Belgium and it had a customs sticker on it. I doubt i`ll bulk order from them now. But from stardvds i just ordered £60`s worth and if they too ship from somewhere else then i`m fu**ed

actually if it comes from europe and does not look like ciggies customs would probably leave it alone as it would be EU taxed already?
