I am fed up with the papers and TV being full of nothing but man utd fans moaning about this Glazier take over thing. They keep saying that the club is not up for sale, but unfortunately, if you are listed on the stock market, then your company is ALWAYS up for sale - thats the way it works.
They didn`t moan when they floated and got loads of cash which paid for a massive stadium, new traing facilities and top class players which in turn won them loads of trophies - maybe they should have thought about the consequences then....
...look into my eyes

Spot f***in on.
If these sphincters want a visit to the real world they should get themselves up to "The Shire" (east Stirlingshire FC) and see the state they are in. Players earning about £20, f*** all money and no hope of a sugar daddy buying them out.
Get real.
Poor wee souls my f***in ring :)

Blimey! Starski`s done well for himself ain`t he! :) _PK
you bloody moron. you obviously have no true affection for a football club or maybe your a mid 90`s bandwagon jumper!! you have completely missed the point here. united fans arent opposing the take over just to be awkward. yes technically glazer can take over but theres a big danger that everything man united stands for could evaporate deep into the pockets of some yank who doesnt give a s*** about tradition and history. unlike chelsea (who dont really have much in the way of tradition anyway) and abramovich who is a multi billionare chucking his own money at the club, glazer doesnt `physically` have the money. he would have to borrow heavily and use uniteds assets to secure the loans. given the size of the loans and huge amounts of interest the profits would have to be increased within a small space of time! so who do you thinks gonna pay for that?! us the fans!!! ticket prices would rocket, like they did when he took over the tampa bay bucaneers.other possible permeatations include an increase and dilution in sponsorship, the renaming/sponsoring or selling of the stadium which could be leased back. there is 126 years of history at stake and that is why united fans are so against this bid!!!
"I`ve not seen someone taking a beating like that, since someone put a banana down my pants and set a monkey loose.."
i don`t think its all that bad .. yank taking over. look what he did to tampa bay. he picked them up and now there 1 of the best. in man utd case he we pick them up and..... ahh i see where u guys r coming frm.
RE: Moaning Man Utd fans
Unfortunately, this "game" is now a business, do you think that the Mr. Glazer would want a club to watch them week in and week out? I doubt it. All he wants is a) profit and b) prestiege Does anyone remember Michael Knighton? (attention seeker).
If someone buys enough shares then he controls the club. It could be anyone, so if the club is listed on stock exchange then blame all the guys who made a mint listing the club in the first place. You should all know by now that the "fans" are the last people that these money makers care about. They just want to fleece us for every penny they can get.
By the by, best news of the day Ollie signed new contract at QPR, so at least we may have a bit more stability for a while, with a very enthusiastic, loyal and caring manager who actually cares about his club. players and yes, FANS! However., someone could buy the club tomorrow and sack him and ruin all of his hard work. As most people in football say "take each day as it comes".
So Man U fans, spare a thought for us so called minows who actually make up the rest of the football league and remember that most clubs are a lot more worse off than you.
It is very boring reading about the same 4 teams day in and day out in all the papers. Soon all the kids will support the "big 4" and all of the remaining clubs will go down the plug hole. If Abromovich pulls out next year, will Chelsea fold up with over 100M of debts?

I have great pity for Man Utd over all this, and admire the fact that some of them are trying to put up a stand against it....but unfortunately I don`t see what it will come to.
At the end of it all, there are enough fans out there to keep the club going. Old Trafford would be filled from casual fans alone, even if the hardcore fans stuck to their guns and walked out.

What exactly does manyoo stand for exactly? Its been a soulless money making PLC for ages now. As have 90% of the top flight. The only side in the top 5 with any spirit left are Everton.
