Everton fans - a discrace and a joke!!
having being to goodison yesterday for the game i am appalled at evertons fans. first the missiles being thrown at our players was nothing short of discraceful!! these `backwards` people should be lock up and banned from watching a football match ever again. then theres the morons outside looking for a fight afterwards. the walk back to the coach was like being back in the 80`s. there were loads of scousers just looking for trouble. its a good job i had no colours on as anyone spotted with a united shirt on got battered!!! the merseyside police were virtually non-existent too. utter useless. i think everton should be made to play behind closed doors for a game or two, then that may make them think twice in future...

I was disgusted by the scenes on TV, in fact I wrote a lengthly piece about it on my blog site, just rememebr it`s not all Everton fans - the ones involved though should be banned for life and in some instances locked up.

I spent most of the match looking at the crowd, quite interesting to see the reactions from some of these inbred, slack-jawed bastards. The same ones over and over again.
One thing I found very warming was the ONE Everton supporter who actually stood up and applauded Rooney as he went to get the ball for a throw-in, during the early part of the first half.

Im an Everton fan. Personally Im amazed at the decision to put this game on a 5.30 kick off for a start. Firstly its `scousers v mancunians` , secondly it gives everyone a chance to get tanked up in the pubs before the match and thirdly its Rooneys first game at Goodison since his switch there. All this is bound to add up to tension manifesting itself into violence off the pitch!
What certain fellow Evertonians dont realise is that we got Rooney `off the streets` , we turned him into a superstar what with the right training and experienced staff and we sold him on for nearly 30 million pounds. Last season was the one season where Rooney started all available games he could - taking injuries & suspensions into account - and we finished fourth from bottom , one place above the relegation zone! This season we havent had to play him from the start to please the media and such like and we are now lingering in fourth positon with 11 games to go. We dont need him! We got a hefty profit for him! He`s happy and we Evertonians should be happy!
Everton are not in any European Cup competitons this season and are out of all the domestic cup competitions also , so all we have to concentrate on now is finishing as high as we can in the league.
So certian fellow Evertonians should look to the future and not the past. They should realise that it was great business selling Rooney and we are on the up and up. What we/they shouldnt do is lynch some footballer just because he wants to better himself. Come on Everton!
Theres one...set for stunk!!!

the bbc only put it on at that time because they wanted the biggest audience they could to watch, they were hoping it would kick off. the commentary itself was so pro manu it was embarrassing to listen to. im not saying it wouldnt have been as bad had it been a 1.30/3pm kick off, but it wouldnt have been at that level.
and what about at anfield a few weeks back when the mobile got thrown on the pitch, its not just us.
RE: Everton fans - a discrace and a joke!!
Its so sad ,it must take a very `sheshul` type of moron to get into such a state over what is after all a fekken GAME!! ffs :(
RE: Everton fans - a discrace and a joke!!
it`s obviosuly not right, but the coin throwing happens every week up and down across the country!
A few years ago I used to work with some-one who was a steward at Highbury, and he said part of his job was to stand by the corner flag at corner kicks to stop players being hit by coins!

Who were those people just before the game who had a pop at Wayne Rooney? They were standing on the pitch, and seeing as nobody was trying to get rid of them, it looked as if they were meant to be there.

Ultimately, it`s the police who decide the kick off times - bearing in mind that it`s Saturday so they can`t show a game on TV between 3 and 5pm.

i personally dont agree with that. as a season ticket holder at man united (not man u, grr..) i can honestly say ive not seen any coin throwing in years. theres the occasional spot of bother when an opposition fan is in the home end, but other than that uniteds fans are very well behaved
