Whoever gets it first - can they please check if Die Hard 3 is actually cut to b******y in this version as it has been in previous releases. If it is, why bother, especially as you can get 1 & 2 quite cheap already in anomorphic versions on resaleable region 2.

Die Hard 3 has *never* been cut in region 1.

As for "why bother"... it`s up to you really. If you`re not bothered about the special features, fair enough, but some of us are.

(The "resaleable" point is a red herring. There`s nothing to stop you, as a private individual, from trading or selling your R1 discs to another private individual.)

Me? I`ll probably be getting the new box set, even though I`ve already got uncut, anamorphic versions on R4. I just can`t help myself :-)

try DV-Depot

They may not be the best, but their method of shipping *almost* guarantees you`ll get the disks without being `custom-ized`

Can`t reveal how (for obvious reasons), but I got an 8 disk box set at a reasonable price, with no customs hassle at all.

Give it a try

Actually, yes there is!

It`s ILLEGAL to sell/trade a non region 2 disc in the UK if that disc has not been fully classified by the BBFC, including any and all extras, even the menus!!

Trust me, I did a fair bit of research into this when I was going to set up a business, and asked the question even as a "Private individual for my own personal use".

Anyway, if you want further info on the subject, try emailing the webmaster on the BBFC website, they`re very quick at responding.
